Burmese People's Liberation Army thanks AA for military training support

Thanking the Arakan Army (AA) for teaching them how to conduct military training, the Burmese People's Liberation Army (BPLA) commander stated that he was satisfied with the initiative.

In the order sent to the graduation ceremony of their basic military education week (4), the BPLA commander said, “All the previous training sessions of BPLA were conducted under the supervision of AA trainers, but in the week (4) we become capable of leading the training program by our own trainers. So I am satisfied. I am very grateful to the Rakhine Army members who taught me to stand up for myself in this kind of program.”

He also offered special gratitude to the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) for providing training materials and extending other necessary assistance.

Recognizing the benefits, the BPLA committed as an ally to the common political goal and revolution. It also assured that they would never betray the allies.

Mentionale is that the BPLA was formed by several Burmese young people in liberated areas after the last year’s military coup in Myanmar. Now the organization has around hundreds of armed personnel who are ready to fight against the military junta.

Earlier, the organization used to receive military training and other related support from the AA to modernize their armed group.

According to Wikipedia, BPLA was founded on 17 April 2021 by a group of 17 people, including Maung Saungkha, a prominent Burmese poet and human rights activist who had participated in the 2021–2022 protests in Myanmar.^[4] The logo of the BPLA consists of nine peacock feathers arranged in a circle, a symbol of the last kings of Myanmar.^[3]
