The victims include three individuals from Min Bya
township, one from Ann township in Rakhine State and four from Paletwa township
of Chin State.
The Min Bya victims have been identified as Swe York Hussin (20), Mamud Alam (25) and
Daw Sou Muda (50) hailing from Sin Gyi Byin Muslim village.
The injured eight people are being treated at Min Bya
township hospital. The shells fired by the Min Bya-based LIB 380 hit the
village at 9 pm on Tuesday.
Another deceased is identified as U Saw Shwe (75) from
Tea Kant Htuang village of Kazu Kai village-tract under Ann township.
At least five more villagers, including a minor, were
seriously injured and they are now receiving medical treatment at Kan Htaung
Gyi rural hospital.
The Burmese soldiers fired intentionally on the
villages near to Ka Zy Kai army outpost during the night hours.
In Paletwa township, the AA members are attacking the
military camp in Taraw Ai village. At least four villagers were killed in the
military bombings.
On the first day of renewed fighting in Rakhine on 13
November against the junta forces four civilians were killed and 10 others
injured. Casualties were reported from Mrauk U and Kyauk Taw townships in the
northern Rakhine region.
In the last three days, over a dozen innocent people
were killed by the army’s artillery firing.
