AA captures Minbya advanced training school

 The  Arakan Army (AA) has successfully captured number 9 advanced training school in Minbya township of Rakhine State.

"The training school near Kanni village under Minbya locality was completely captured on 26 February by 7 pm," said a statement issued by the AA.

The AA fighters started their attack at 10:45 am on 17 February and continued for ten consecutive days.

The junta forces fiercely resisted with airstrikes and artillery shells, but finally they surrendered.

Many junta soldiers were killed and the AA fighters seized  a large amount of arms and ammunition from the training school.

The AA deeply honours all those, who fought courageously and made supreme sacrifices during the victorious offensive.

The AA also disclosed that their fighters will launch offensives against the military  camps in Rathedaung, Ponnagyun, Buthidaung and Maungdaw townships with an aim to capture those fully.
