ULA/AA donates money-cattle to Buthidaung Muslims for celebrating Eid ul-Adha

The United League of Arakan/Arakha Army (ULA/AA) donated money and cattle to Muslims communities of  Buthidaung township in Arakan State to celebrate their religious festival.

 

"We extended support to the Muslim residents to commemorate Eid ul-Adha. Cattle are also donated to many villagers. The elderly and injured women are offered monetary benefits," said  ULA/AA spokesperson U Khaing Thukha.



 The donation program was held on 18 June at nine locations including ward number  5 in Buthidaung locality.


The Islamic  leaders, community workers and local residents attended the events and expressed gratitude to the ULA/AA for their support to the religious festival.


Similar donation programs were organised in the townships of Kyauktaw, Mrauk-U, Minbya, and Pauktaw too.
