Maungdaw, 15 November 2016:

Two Bengali youths from northern Arakan were arrested by the security forces on Friday as they used a facebook account with the fake name of Ma Swe Zin  to attack the State and the Myanmar Army (Tamadaw).

According to the Army media outlet named Ka Ka (Pyi),  the arrested Muslim youths were identified as brothers, who were caught by the security forces comprised of the Army troop and border police personnel.

Rawhi Mular and Arman Ohlar were picked up by the security forces from the house of Nawzi Ramauk in Bagon Na Muslim village under Maungdaw Township.

The Maungdaw Myoma police station confirmed the arrest.

“We are now preparing a lawsuit with the defamation case against the State and Tamadaw through false information in the alternate media. They used the fake account to defame our nation and the armed forces. They will be tried under the  electoral laws,” said a police officer.

However, there is no clear indication in Ka Ka (Pyi) how the Muslim youths use the account against the State and Tamadaw.
