Malaysian aids arrive in Sittwe

Aids donated by Malaysia to support the Muslim community in the Arakan State have arrived in Sittwe Port via the military naval ship yesterday afternoon.

The donated aids are 6,000 bags of rice, 1,486 boxes of dried noodle, 979 boxes of purified water, waterproof bags, tarpaulin, towels, razors, sanitary napkins, toothbrushes, toothpastes, soaps, detergent, shoes, and creams.


A ship from Malaysia carried the donated items to Thilawa Port in Rangoon and they are then transported to Sittwe via the naval ship.

They will be donated to the Muslim community in Sittwe, Buthidaung, Maungdaw, Myebon, and Rathedaung townships.
