Extremists kill four persons in Maungdaw

At least four Rakhine people were killed by the terrorists at three mile village of Maungdaw locality on Wednesday noon. One person went missing after the incident, said the family members.

According to them, the  terrorists attacked them with swords, sticks & arrows  while they were working for the Rakhine community survivors of terror incidents.

Among the victims, two men namely Pan Tha Hla (45) and Than Aye Maung (30) hail from Kin Chaung village under Maungdaw township and the other two persons namely Ko Ko (24) from Kan Thaya and Thant Zaw hail from Buthidaung locality.

U Ba Shwe relative of them  informed that all the bodies were sent to the hospital for autopsy. He reminded that it was definitely not the first time where such killings were organized in recent times in northern Arakan areas.

Earlier on 27August, 5 Daingnet persons including two babies namely Ma Khi Nu and Ma Hla Nu Thar from Yankar Zaydi Daingnet village under Maungdaw township were killed by the Muslim villagers of Kyangdoe village turned terrorists.

Those extremists from Myo Thu Gyi Muslim village also killed six members of a Hindu family on 26 August.
