China has affirmed its commitment to play a
constructive role in stabilizing the situation in Rakhine State, said a report
by CGTN, China's state-owned news outlet on Friday.
During the UN Security Council briefing regarding the
situation in Myanmar's Rakhine State, China's deputy permanent representative

Amidst international concerns over the recent

Myanmar's internal problem. He urged the international community to respect
Myanmar’s sovereignty and help facilitate dialogues among various stake
holders.
He asserted that China's policy of friendship with
Myanmar comprises all people of the country and they are committed to play a
constructive role in generating peaceful resolutions for the benefit of the
Rakhine people.
