In nine Muslim villages of Rakhine state, lectures on women's rights and empowerment were provided to Muslim women.

The event was collaboratively arranged by the Arakan People's Revolutionary Government along with the Arakan Students' Union (ASU).

On April 12, ASU's Ethnic Affairs Committee Secretary Ma Aye Aye Soe informed Narinjara that the lectures took place in nine Muslim villages within territories managed by the Arakan Army.

She mentioned that the lectures took place to foster harmony and trust among various ethnic groups in the development of Rakhine state, regardless of race, religion, or gender.

"I advocated for the involvement of all ethnic groups, both men and women, and various religions in the development of the Arakan state. I also discussed national unity and social cohesion. I also discussed the part that the youth of the Arakan region ought to take in constructing the country in a more active and collaborative manner. All ethnic groups in the Arakan state need to unite, irrespective of religion or gender, to combat the junta regime," she said.

Given that this is a time of transformative nation-building, it is crucial to foster unity and confidence among the ethnic communities residing in the Arakan area, she noted.

"Given that we are currently in a phase of transformative nation-building, it is clear that fostering harmony and trust among the ethnic communities residing in the Arakan region is essential for nation-building," she stated.

The Arakan People's Revolutionary Government, established by the AA, is conducting administrative and development efforts in the 14 towns of Rakhine and Paletwa Township controlled by the Arakan Army.

Moreover, the importance of ethnic groups is being highlighted, with individuals claiming that they have observed every ethnic group from the Arakan area being unified in the government and various departments.
