It has been reported that a military junta fighter jet released two 500-pound bombs close to the Anuk Ye Muslim Village in Pauktaw Township, Rakhine State, on April 11, at approximately 11 am.
A resident mentioned that there were no injuries because the site of the two bomb drops was close to the village of Anuk Ye.
The villagers expressed concern about the junta's air attacks, noting that their village is located on Phayongka Island in Pauktaw Township and near Sittwe.
Additionally, the military council in Sittwe will consistently use heavy artillery and small firearms.
The villagers primarily depend on fishing for their livelihood.
Villagers report that they cannot engage in fishing since the military navy has detained them while involved in those fishing activities.
The military council announced a ceasefire from April 2 to 22 because of the earthquake, yet airstrikes, artillery bombardments, and military incursions persist.
On April 5, the Ministry of Human Rights of the National Unity Government (NUG) reported that in the week following the March 28 earthquake, the terrorist junta has conducted a total of 63 air and artillery strikes across various regions, including Rakhine.
The NUG reported that 68 non-combatants, including one child and 15 women, lost their lives in shelling amid the junta's assaults .
