Junta troops have carried out regular airstrikes on Kyeintali Town, situated in Gwa Township, Arakan State, where a male resident sustained injuries during an attack on the evening of February 12.

The person who was injured has been recognized as U Chit Gyi, 41, a resident of Ward No. 2 in Kyeintali Town.

On February 12, at approximately 4:00 pm, junta forces carried out yet another airstrike on Kyeintali Town with a fighter jet, only one week after the strikes on February 4.

In the course of this assault, a bomb struck Ward No. 2, wounding U Chit Gyi with fragments.

A military source verified the airstrike, saying, "Junta forces executed airstrikes using fighter jets. Two explosives were detonated. A resident sustained an injury, but it was not severe—it resulted from shrapnel.“

The airstrikes also obliterated two residential structures in Ward No. 2 of Kyeintali Town.

Earlier, on February 4 at approximately 4:00 pm, military forces conducted airstrikes on Kant Kaw Taung village in Kyeintali Town, Gwa Township, resulting in the total destruction of religious structures and seven homes.
