The Chinland Defense Force-Asho (CDF-Asho) announced on January 27 that 17 junta soldiers, who had escaped from clashes in Ann Township, Arakan State, were apprehended alive, along with their weapons, after seven days.

The statement indicated that CDF-Asho had been intercepting and assaulting the columns of withdrawing junta forces along the Ann-Padan road, which they were utilizing for their withdrawal.

According to the statement, between January 17 and 25, a total of 17 prisoners of war were captured, which included five MA-1 rifles, one MA-2 rifle, one MA-4 rifle, one MA-15 rifle, along with ammunition and military equipment.

Furthermore, on January 20, CDF-Asho stated that three soldiers from the junta died in a confrontation with Division 99 forces, who had abandoned their camp on the Ann-Padan road.

Fifteen soldiers from Division 99, attempting to escape their camp, were assaulted by two CDF-Asho units on the Ann-Padan road in Ngape Township, Magway Region.

On December 4, a combined unit of CDF-Asho, the New Society Army (NSA), and the People's Liberation Army (PLA) detained 12 prisoners of war, one of whom was a junta captain.
