On 3 December, Federal Wings announced that its drone force and the ministry of Communications & Information Technology (MoCIT) under National Unity Government (NUG) have mutually agreed to end their collaboration.

"This is to inform the public that the collaboration between the Federal Wings’ drone force and the MoCIT has ended with an effect from 6 November last,” said the announcement.

It added that  Federal Wings made the difficult decision to pursue a separate path in the resistance movement in order to focus more on the revolution.

Federal Wings' commitment to continue fighting with determination and strength until the military dictatorship is overthrown in Myanmar, asserted the statement.

It may be mentioned that the Federal Wings’ drone force, working alongside the relevant battalions and units in the territories under Karen National Union (KNU) namely brigade (6) and brigade (3), remains dedicated to conduct drone operations targeting the junta forces.
