The AA took control of the Taungup University checkpoint, the junta bases at the rubber farm, and the university buildings, where junta troops were heavily stationed across the campus, out of the 10 camps captured in Taungup.
Additional camps that were seized consist of the junta camp located on Arlein Ngar Sint Pagoda hill, camps near the monastery in Phone Nyo village and surrounding Phone Nyo bridge, the MOC-5 checkpoint in Taungup Town, the junta camp within the Su Taung Pyae monastery compound in Thein Taung ward, the camp at Kyo Kyar Kwin checkpoint, the camp at the summit of Kaing Shay bridge, the junta camp at Thiri Hospital, and the Taungup police station in Taungup Town.
