Dark Shadow stated on November 14 that a minor explosive device was used as a warning at the residence of famous actor Yan Aung, who had greeted junta leader Min Aung Hlaing at the airport.

The statement reported that Dark Shadow launched an assault on the residence of junta-supporting actor Yan Aung at 12:45 pm on November 14, 2024, using a low-grade explosive device as a precautionary measure. The incident occurred on Mya Yadanar Street in Yankin Township.

Yan Aung is well-known in the media and online platforms for endorsing the oppressive actions of the military regime, leading to ongoing suffering for the population.

Hence, Dark Shadow issued an initial warning by attacking Yan Aung's residence with a low-level explosive device, the announcement clarified.

It was also said that other artists who supported the military regime were given the same warning.

Dark Shadow also advised the public to steer clear of areas associated with the military regime, such as spots frequented by junta officers, troops, and Pyusawhti militias.

Artists supportive of the military regime, like Sin Yaw Mg Mg, Khant Si Thu, Yan Aung, Soe Myat Thuzar, May Than Nu, May Thinzar Oo, Jenny, Yone Lay, and Dain Daung, welcomed Min Aung Hlaing back to Naypyidaw airport after attending the Greater Mekong Subregion Summit in China on November 10.
