The military regime launched airstrikes on Nampawngvillage in Hsenwi (Theinni) district of northern Shan State, while the countryis reeling under flood, claimed Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army(MNDAA), adding that the strikes resulted in five civilian deaths and injuriesto eight other individuals.
On the evening of 13 September at around 7 pm,two jet fighters repeatedly circled the area before dropping three bombs onresidential zones of Nampawng village.
Three villagers sustained serious injuries and theairstrikes also destroyed several houses.
There is no military installation oradministrative office near the area which was targeted by the junta's jetfighters.
