At leastthree residents were killed and five others seriously injured as the juntaforces conducted airstrikes once again using two jet fighters on Kin ChaungRakhine village along the road to Ah Ngu Maw in southern Maungdaw township ofRakhine State at around 12 pm on Tuesday, said a local resident.
Thedeceased individuals include Bo Kyaw (34) and two women. The injuredinclude Daw Aye Nu Myaing (50), Ma Cho Cho Win (28), Ma Nwe Nwe (20), and twoother villagers.
The juntaforces conducted two airstrikes on Kin Chaung village using two jet fightersthis afternoon.
"Thebombs were dropped by two jet fighters. The actual number of casualties will be more,” added the resident.
On 12 May,five residents of 4-mile Thar Yar Kone and Ngwe Taung villages under Maungdaw township were seriously injured by the artillery shells fired bythe 5th border guard police battalion, stated the residents.
