After the Arakan Army (AA)took control of the Paletwa region, continuous attacks on divisions andbattalions in Kyauktaw, Mrauk-U and Minbya townships of Rakhine State are goingon.
According to the ThreeBrotherhood Alliance statement the significant military bases
currently need only partialcapture.
In Ramree (Yanbye) townshipof Kyaukphyu district, the junta's military bases have been strategicallysurrounded and blocked.
The military tension isescalating in Mrauk-U, Minbya and Kyauktaw townships. There are 10 battalionsunder the 9th military operations command (MOC-9) of the junta on duty in thesethree townships. Some of the battalions have been captured. Some requireonly partial capture. The remaining battalions are still under the attack by AAfighters added

The AA has successfullycaptured five fortified junta battalions, namely the 539th light infantrybattalion, 377th artillery battalion and 374th light infantry battalion in KanSauk of Kyauktaw township, as well as 540th light infantry battalion inMrauk-U township, and the 380th light infantry battalion in Minbya township.
The AA may have alsocaptured the 375th and 376th battalions along with the MOC-9 based in Kyauktawlocality. However, Narinjara News cannot confirm the information.
The residents said thatthere is a need for partial capture for 377th and 378th battalions inMrauk-U township, as well as 379th and 541st battalions based in Minbyalocality.
During the battle in Ramreetownship, under the offensive of the AA, the junta's military bases stationedin and around Ramree were strategically surrounded.
The battle on Ramree islandis widespread and the junta forces are attacking Ramree with the air force,navy personnel as well as artillery shells.
On 2 February, thejunta forces conducted two airstrikes with jet fighters and four times withMi-35 helicopters deliberately targeting the Ramree town areas. Simultaneously,the junta's naval ship in Tan Chaung Wa fired at least 10 artillery shells overthe town.
After the launch ofOperation 1027, the military operations unfolded in Paletwa and also theRakhine region. The AA is progressively advancing towards its militaryobjectives, asserted the statement.
Three Brotherhood Allianceindicated that the AA commander-in-chief said in an interview with the BBC on 1February that the AA fighters will persist in its fight to achieve fullmilitary control over the entire Rakhine region.
