"More than 40 camps abandoned by the army are also occupied"
The Arakan Army (AA) was able to occupy four (4) border guard camps andover (40) camps abandoned by the military council within 10 days of the 1027operation in the Rakhine province, the AA announced.
In the evening of November 22nd, AA issued a press statement.
The following military bases could be offensively taken by AA: Dom PikeBorder Guard Station in Rathedaung Township, taken on the first day of theoperation, November 13. On November 14,the "Chang Khali" border guard camp was taken on the second day. The "Dom Nyo" border patrol camp inMaungdaw north close to Bangladesh border was captured on November 17, and the"Kha Hla" camp located at northern part of Buthidaung Township wascaptured on November 21, according to the statement.
"In addition, from November 14th till today, the AA has been attackingthe junta's two strongholds in Paletwa Township, "Taroai militarystrategic " and "Nongbu military strategic ". "Today marksthe ninth day of the offensive against these two strategies, and the fightingcontinues," it stated.
The enemy was also air-dropping the two strategy camps, according to AA,and part of the enemy's air support equipment was taken by AA yesterday.
On November 21, about 100 individuals, including monks, pregnant women, andchildren in the town of Pauk Taw, who were seized as hostages as human shieldsby the junta army, were rescued.
During the effort to rescue the kidnapped civilian, Amy utilized Mi 35 andjet fighters, but AA saved them in the end.
The jet aircraft pounded Pauk Taw three times at 12:05 (05) in theafternoon on November 22, attacking the Pagoda Hill of Lawka Hteit Pan forroughly 20 minutes each time.

According to AA, it will continue to attack military camps that havecommitted human rights violations and other crimes against humanity, as well assoldiers who have not surrendered their weapons to AA.
