The  revolutionary armed groups of Burma have successfully attacked and occupied Kaw Lin, a district townunder  Sagaing division (located atupper Burma and close to northeast India), said a press statement issued by the National Unity Government(NUG).

The initial military press release of People’s Defense Army (PDF) under the NUG  said on Mondaythat the police station, general administrationoffice, land registry office,  high school and Myanmar
Economic Bank, where the enemy troops were  stationed, have been captured by the PDF and ethnic alliedarmed forces.

The release added that after the attack the enemy's administrative system stopped working and Kaw Lin wasbrought to their control.

A variety of 54 sophisticated arms & ammunition were, details of which are yet to be known and expected soonfrom the revolutionary groups.
