Three youths were arrested by the military council troop from an IDP camp in Rathedaung township of RakhineState on 16 May.
The arrested persons are identified as Maung Nay Tun Oo (17 years old), Maung Aung Myo Khan (16) andMaung Khaing Myo Lin (17).
They were arrested in the evening hours while returning backto the Rathedaung camp fromPonna Kyun on a motorcycle.
"They went to Ponna Kyun on a motorbike at around 12 noon. By 4 pm, Maung Aung Myo Khan called his parentsand said that they were arrestedby the army personnel. Then the phone went out of order,” said a relative of the arrested youths,adding that reasons behind their arrest are still unknown.
All three are taking shelter in Pyilon Chanthar IDP camp for a long time. They hail from differentareas like Maung Nay Tun Oo belongingto Nwa La Kyaw village, Maung Aung Myo Khan from Sedipyin village and Maung Khaing Myo Lin from Kyauktanvillage.
Rakhine State border & security minister colonel Kyaw Thu Ra did not answer the phone call by Narinjara Newsfor confirmation about the arrest.
