An old bomb exploded in Buthidaung township of Rakhine Stateon Sunday which killed a Muslim man.
The victim has been identified as Rofi (20 years old)hailing from Thein Taung Pyin village under the township.
Rofi and his companions from Phyon Chaung village underButhidaung township were cutting trees inside Mayu mountain range during theevening hours of 27 March.
While witnessing an old bomb, Rofi picked it up and suddenlyit exploded, informed the township administrator Kyan Aye. "It is truethat there was an incident of blast and one individual was killed," heconfirmed it.
One of Rofi’s companions also suffered injuries to his rightback and he has been admitted in the township hospital.
