Arakanese artists to showcase creativities on canvas

An exhibition of paintings created by three Arakanese artists has been organized at Rangoon (Yangon).

According to Ko Kaung Kyaw Khaing, a participating painter in the show, the exhibition will kick-off tomorrow (7 February 2016) at  Think Gallery located at Nawaday street of the former capital city of Burma (Myanmar).

The art appreciators can view around 30 art-works in the exhibition till 10 February next. The display time is fixed between 10 Am to 5 pm every day during the scheduled period.

“Most of the paintings are inspired by the Rakhine culture and landscapes. Our aim to organize the exhibition is to showcase the treasures of Arakan with the message of togetherness,” added Kaung
Kyaw Khaing.


The other two participant artists are Shwe Thein and Than Kyaw Htay, who informed that the displayed paintings would be sold at reasonable prices to interested buyers. They have invited everyone to grace the show and appreciate their creations.
