Prisoners exchanged between Burma and Bangladesh

Burma and Bangladesh exchanged few prisoners in a director level flag meeting held in a border village of Bangladesh on December 10 last, which also witnessed the signing of some agreements by the delegates representing both the neighboring countries, said an official from Burma.

ADB loan for improving Burma’s electrification network

(Guwahati, 10 Dec 2013): The electrification network in Burma (now known as Myanmar) is expected to improve with a $60 million loan from Asian Development Bank (ADB), which has sanctioned the first project loan to the southeast Asian country.
